Research Activities

My current research focuses on the development and characterization of relevant ex vivo cell and tissue culture models to study host immune responses and virus-mediated pathogenesis following virus infection using a comparative immunology approach.
Previously, I have contributed in the area of developmental biology, disease modelling, antiviral immunity, disease pathogenesis, probiotics, etc.

Techniques/Expertise

Cell and tissue culture, Stem cells, RT-qPCR, Confocal Microscopy, ELISA, Western blot, gel electrophoresis, CRISPR-Cas9 based knockout, transfection, transformation, transduction, sequencing library preparation, RNA-seq data analysis, etc.
